Jackie Chan to focus on Olympics this year
According to Reuters Life! Hong Kong superstar Jackie Chan will take a break from making movies this year in order to promote the forthcoming Beijing Olympics. Jackie Chan started training in martial arts and acrobatics as a child at the Peking Opera School and has said that he hopes the Olympic spirit will inspire today’s Chinese and Hong Kong children to lead more active lives and participate in sports.
Jackie Chan was one of many of the major Chinese stars to sing on the Beijing countdown song - Welcome to Beijing.
